Sherman is having a busy little week, isn't he? More bogus claims against people who owe nothing. Fight them, let them know they will get their tails caught in a big, fat wringer washer by way of a defamation suit for slandering your credit.
Call your physician, report your distress, that's a violation of FTC rules as well. These thugs play a cynical high-stakes numbers game. Many times they actually get people to pay money they don't even owe. Why do the collection agency dirtballs do as they do? Because it pays, same reason thieves do as they do. High pay, lo-risk.
You can change that for them. Make trouble for them by reporting this to the FTC, the BBB, and your state AG. Stay in touch on this board, burn these sub-human spirochetes with every legal device at your disposal.
Let them know that to you, this is not a game, that you take invasions of your family and home with all due seriousness.

Seriously,

Background: Smug, vapid, nothing-behind-the-eyes
politician/police chief tells Callahan to lighten up, to not worry so much about bringing
scumbag criminals - like collectors - to justice, telling him as regards police work, "It's a whole
new ballgame."
