i have a problem with Chase cardmember services...my card is on the verge of being charged off, and their collections office keeps calling me. i explained that i lost my job and was willing to pay if i could, but this woman i spoke too got all nasty and made me feel like a low-life deadbeat, and asked insulting questions like "did you even finish high school?" (for her info, i have a college degree) and when i talked about losing my job, she said "you should be blessed you are not on the streets like millions of other people" and also asked "who are you living with?" and "where were you working before?"

are they really allowed to ask questions like that? why do they need to know what level of school i finished or who i am living with or where i worked? they also did not need to be insulting saying i should be on the streets. what should i do about this?
