I appeared in court and a representative for the
creditor showed up late wanting to settle. I told
her I wanted validation and she agreed to vacate
the judgment until she sends me the requested
documents. I can't imagine why she so easy going
about it. I'm going to send a validation letter
which I will need help with and educate myself for
the next round. The creditor's rep said it would
take weeks for her to get any records, etc. Any
advice? I am in new york. The debt is from 1991
fell deliquent around 1994 and it's still on my
credit report with deliquency as 1999. I can't
find paper work. court clerk said I could supeona
