i have never received anything in the mail yet i received a phone call today from a collection agency with regards to a check they say i bounced 6 years ago...when i asked where they mailed this supposed "notice" they gave me an address that i haven't lived at for 12 years....now this very rude man tells me to send him $397.00 to clear this matter up, yet says he can't tell me how much the check was written for....he says i could wait for a copy to be mailed but that could take 6 weeks and by then he says i will be in court and it will cost me $3000.00.......someone please tell me i'm having a nightmare....1st of all i don't even remember doing this and secondly 6 years is a ridiculous amount of time to wait....and i thought ames went bankrupt anyway
