Hello Nervous and scared, this is exactly how they want you to feel. Their job is to collect money from you. Whenever they throw in the words sue, lawyer, court. People just freak out. Don't be scared by that, even if you do have to appear in court, it will only be to confirm the amount of the debt you owe.
How old are these debts? And how much do you owe? I may have a couple of options that could help you get rid of that debt besides filing BK and not CCC's either.
