Hello Nervous of being sued. This is the way they want you to feel. They are in business to collect money from you, so they will tell you anything to get you to send them a check. If, on the outside chance they do sue and you have to appear in court, all you have to do is appear and confirm the amounts owed on the debts. If you can't make the payments, then that's that.
I am curious, how much do you owe? How late are your payments? I ask because I may be able to recommend a couple of things that may help you get rid of these debts without filing BK or CCC.
