oh really. So you are saying if the debt is past 7 years old it would magically appear on the persons credit report if they were getting a mortgage? Pray tell me how that is possible. Also, If the debt is past the statute of limitations that means you cannot legally be taken to court. IF I was to send you a cease and desist on a time barred debt how would you continue to collect on it? You cannot call me. You cannot sue me. You cannot report it on my credit report. You cannot even send me a dunning letter. How would you get paid?
