Ok.....just got my damn Warrant In Debt summons. The amount is for 927.86. The court date is 6/23/03. I live in VA but the court is in Richmond and its about 2 hours away. I cannot take off a day to show up at court. If I do not show up, what will happen. This happend to me in the past about 8 years ago. The result was nothing, a sheriff served my summons at my residence. Back then I did not have a home in my name, but did have an automobile in my name. I am wondering if they could garnish my pay or get a hold of my bank account.
