But if I do call to get the information but deny the charges as Scott suggested am I opening up a Pandora's box? Should I just ignore them and hope that they move on?

Also -- I wanted to add that to the best of my knowledge, I cant think of any debt that I would have that would have gone to a collection agency as I am current on all my bills.

One other wild/wierd tidbit...for the past 5-6 years, there is a couple that has been "claiming" my house as their address for things like establishing a blockbuster accoutn or a Randall's Grocery account. We get their past due notices for blockbuster ALL THE TIME! At one time, their pre-addressed 1040 tax form came to the house too! I sent info on this back to the IRS and they didnt respond with anything but a "so what". I have also contacted the blockbuster and Randall's and other stores and they dont give any creedence to me since I am not the account holder. I also sent a claim to the postmaster general as this was all that the d.a's office in town could suggest that I do. The point being that this couple who do NOT live at my house have the same name as my maiden name. Is it possible that ASSet Accpt has their info with my address/phone? And in answer to my own question, I guess I should call to find out but then again, back to my first question -- am I opening up a pandora's box?
