yes while most of that is true, if he tries to go and get a mortgage they would see he has an account in collections, even though its not on his cr when mtg companies deals with a client when they can go back a long way to find accounts never paid same thing with a car, but as far as the small people like cc companies as far as target,wal-mart etc they wont see it, THATS WHY MY COMPANY BUYS THE PAPER WHEN MOST OF THESE PEOPLE WITH PAST STAT ACCOUNTS TRY TO GET A HOUSE THEY HAVE TO PAY THEIR DEBT BEFORE THEY CAN GET IT LIKE TODAY THIS GUY WAS APPLYING FOR A MTG AND HE OWED A DEBT FROM 1990 HE HAD TO PAY BEFORE HE GOT HIS MTG. WE WOULDNT PURCHASE THESE ACCOUNTS IF WE COULDNT COLLECT ON IT.
