In a "2 party" State, I suggest you IMMEDIATELY, state, "Because I am taping this call, please speak clearly, and give your full name and address". Aside from anything else, this usually stops the harrassment COLD!! I have no knowledge of any waiver of State privacy laws re reporting to the FTC (as Scott says) In general, "illegal" tapes CAN be used in Federal prosocutions for background evidence only.
