I just checked my credit report and found an account with Sherman Acquistions on it. I have never ever heard of this company, and I would like to know what it is and why it showed up on my credit report. It says the account was opened in 1998, but in '98 I was 16 years old and obviously not making credit decisions! The account is perfect though. It had a $0 balance, it is closed and derogatory marks, so I was wondering if I should do anything at all about it, or leave it alone. Does anyone know why this happened and what I should do?
