That doesn't seem right.....maybe Whychat or LadynRed can tell you if that is legal or not. If not, and you let the machine answer, at least you'd have a recording of their voice. I quit answering my phone, not because of credit problems, but a personal reason about 10 years ago. It's amazing how simple your life can become without that intrusion into your life. What bill collectors and others don't seem to realize is that it is YOUR phone. Not theirs. You wouldn't admit a total stranger into your house, so why should the phone be any different. It is a service you subscribe to and pay for, and you can choose how you use it.
