"Common Knowledge" is usually WRONG, and is absolutely incorrect in this case.( that's why they call it "common") If you have a "business" credit card, and you have signed for it personally, it will NOT show up on your credit reports while it is in good standing. Once it defaults, however, the application you signed will take precedence, and the account WILL be on your personal credit, and you CAN be sued for it. It is the same as ANY OTHER legal contract that you sign for personally. That is why they check your PERSONAL credit when you take out a "business" credit card that you are signing on.
