If you signed your name only then you are personally guranteeing the debt so it would show up on your personal credit reports. To be honest with you I got very confused at some point in this thread and am trying to piece together everything again. You got offered a settlment of $9800 on a $24,000 debt. This ia personal card and your attorney has been handling creditors as far as a business chapter 7? If this card is personal then it goes on your personal credit report as a charge-off or paid charge-off that you can later dispute as "not mine" after it's paid and get it removed by the way.
If it's a business card that you sihned only as a officer it will not go on your credit report.
If it is a business card that you just signed for that makes you a personal gurantor and it will show up on personal credit report.
It is a great settlement though bottom line.
