Sherman Acquistions buys debt from other collectiona agencies, usually old stuff which is at or close to Statute of Limitations, they have a fraudulent practice of re-ageing accounts, that is putting the date of the account as the date the account started as opposed to the dtae of last activity of the underlying account. This makes it look like a recent account on the credit report.
