Overdrawn Checking Account

Do you know what banks can do with someone who has had an account for years at that bank but has their account go over many times? Especially A LOT in the past few months? Her account is now close to $400 overdrawn since last week because of her irresponsibility. Not intentional (like criminal/fraud people) but because she would write checks and then go look for the money (basically all of her life with it now getting worse). She is very compulsive and selfish. Family members stopped being subjected to it and so she has checks bouncing all over.

She also has over $2000 in payday loans (about 5 of them) which she cannot pay and 3 of those are going to be submitted to the bank this week. One was submitted last week and who knows if they can/will submit it again.

She will be able to put about $150 in the bank from her work check but then more overdraft fees of about $100 will go in this week. She makes about $350 every 2 weeks.

What do you think the average bank would do in this situation? She's obviously a person who shouldn't even use checks but we can't force her to give up her checks or let someone responsible manage her account since she is an adult -- although she acts like an irresponsible teenager.
