I had the same problem with Verizon..Even spoke to Steven Scwheb directly, and they don't seem to care. I have perfect credit, and told them I would pay them the $300 that I owe them, but they refuse to help me out in this matter. I even offered them more money.
I am now in contact with a State Rep in hopes that someone can help me. Send me an email if you have any luck.
