Is there anybody here that can give me some advise on a charge off? In July of 1996 i bought a car that was junk in January of 1997 i stoped making payment and drove the car back to the car lot. The bank i got the loan at has never called me in regards to the money owing but it is on my credit report as a charge off in the amout of 1900 The last update from the bank was Janaury of 1997. Is there a statute of limitation? What do I do?
