odd call

I received a call from Jay at FRS (Financial Recovery Systems) stating I had a debt in collection for almost 7k. Said the debit was bought by Sherman Aquisitions and then handed over to FRS to attempt collection. Now here's the crazy part .... my wife and I have a very high point score and do not have any debts.We own everything we have! (except the house of course)The account in dispute was opened in May of 88 and "chrged off" on December 24, 1994. I filled Chapter 7 and it was signed and sealed for relief on December 18, 1992.
I still haven't been informed what account they are trying to collect on. This entire thing sound slike a scam to me. Can someone offer any advice or help? Thank you!
