Most likely-since the creditors were notified of your BK, they have it on their records as already discharged in BK.

I doubt that anyone will call or write, however if they do, just have your MIL tell the truth and give them your forwarding address.(do NOT let her inform them of ANYTHING else regarding your finances, or BK or job situation)

By the time you get back, any reason you would have had to file may have disapeared.
