I've posted about getting a 1099c in March of this year for the year 2000. I sent Cap 1 a letter that psychdoc helped me write, stating it should now be updated and reporting correctly. It still is not, so I contacted Cap 1 directly, and spoke to a very nice person there, he researched it for a couple of weeks, and then informed me that I still owe a balance of $850!! The 1099c was for $647, and he said I could pay it by August 8. Does this make sense at all?
