Scott and the others who have knowledge:
I have been contacted by jbc and ass and they claim that I have a returned check for $3500 that was written three years ago in their office. I have paid them $1500 so far, every two weeks. I received a call from a woman in their office today claiming that the agreement was every week, now I am being threatened by a paralegal to have a payment in by 4:30 my time. What is their jurisdiction? Will a cease and desist letter stop them if I contact the creditor? I'm not really sure if I have a check out there....I am recovering from breast cancer and I just didn't feel like having a confrontation with them. Somenone please help me?
