Reaffirmation

I recently filed ch.7 and would like to reaffirm the debt to one of my creditors(car loan). WhyChat, LadynRed or anyone else, could you advise do I contact the creditor first or should I wait for them to initiate the reaffirmation process? I haven't attended my creditor's mtg yet.
