We just recently defaulted on a few credit cards and are getting non stop calls from them. My question is, if we are planning on filing for bankruptcy soon, should we just tell them that when they call? First, i refuse to talk to them if the phone call is recorded and they always seem to fail to inform me that it is recorded until I ask. But, if I tell them I am planning on filing soon, is that bad? Can they use it against me? I just want to let them know to stop bugging me because I can't pay. I live in Kansas. We are at the most two payments behind on the cards.
