Risk Management Alternatives - Advice about them, please!

I've got some debt with American Express - Optima card and the Sign & Travel account. Total for both is about $5,000. This debt is well over 10 years old - probably around 12 years old - past the SOL (I'm in Florida). I keep getting letters from RMA on a monthly basis offering me a settlement. I haven't responded to any of them - I think it's best just to ignore them. Can they do anything to me at this point? Thanks for any and all info! :D
