Have a question about book clubs. The ones where you agree to buy x amount of books in a certain period of time. What can they do to you i.e. credit etc. if you do not buy all the books that they wanted you to in the time frame? Right now they want me to pay them in advance for the books then they will send me a catalog to buy the remaining books. It has already been sent to a collection agency. To me this sounds really strange. How can you owe on something that you haven't bought yet. Thanks for your advice.
