Account History lies

I recently received a copy of my credit report that has a couple of negative items listed that are very old. I need help reading the "account history" section of this report to see when the last time I stopped paying on these item was. It is an Experian credit report and under account history has 60 days as of 4-1997. I have 2 old credit reports from 1998 & one from 2000 both of which list the date of last activity for this company being 1995. How can I have information like this removed from my report?
