A CA got a default judgment against me last year, I got a lawyer for several reasons, and the judgment was then considered a consent judment. The amount of $2000 to settle this matter was agreed upon, and voluntary payments were made until April of this year. Yesterday I got a notice that they are trying to collect an additional $900.00, which would bring the total to almost $500.00 than the original amount owed. Can they actually do this crap? They also sent a notice that said they plan to garnish my wages, and this could cause me to lose my job. I'm waiting to hear back from my lawyer. And I'm not paying these a-holes one more cent! Can I sue them?
