I am getting ready to shoot of HIPAA leter and have one question before doing so....

In your letter the statement "Please be advised that under Federal Statutes (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq) you may be held liable for the actions of (collection agency name)."

My account in in collections but under the original HC Provider. Should I just eliminate this portion of the letter?

Can I even use this form letter if they never sent to a CA, but it is a collection account on my report?

Thanks!
