Lady in red you should know that a collection agency has no authority or ability to remove a credit blemish. A settlement is not a right it is a priviledge that does not have to be offered. It is a good way to save on money. May I ask what your credentials are because I have noticed alot of information that you give is innacurate. If a collection agency states that they can remove atradeline they are lying....they can update to their client whether the account was settled or paid in full. Only paid in full comes off your report..anything else stays on!
