Well.. SOL in NC is a mere THREE YEARS, even the 3/2000 debt has expired and they cannot legally sue you over the debts !!

What Scott meant, and he's right, if you do not get any agreement, IN WRITING, then you have no legal proof that there ever WAS an agreement and a CA will renege on it 99% of the time.

WhyChat has a letter that can be used with the CRA's get expired SOL debts removed from your credit report.

Unless you're having a moralistic attack, there is absolutely no reason for you to pay these expired debts. A CA will take your money and re-sell the balance to another CA. You'll later have to fight or pay THEM too !!
