Obviously you've had some serious problems in the past and now you're paying the price. What state are you in ? On the check they say you owe 122.60 on, how much was the original check for, how long ago did it bounce ? In many states, they can assess treble damages - 3x the amount of the check, and some add other fees. $123 is NOT a lot to pay if it'll get you off Telecheck and allow you to get a checking account. Why do you need this checking account so badly ? I know that sounds dumb, but there may be other solutions open to you.
