To echo a point I believe made by Scott,
very few collection agencies are ever mentioned at all on this board, and only a fraction of those mentioned comeup for opprobrium and censure.
There are doubtless thousands of collection agencies in this country, yet on this board only a handful keep coming to the fore, over and over and over and over again. All for good reason, different from those who pass unnoticed and unmentioned, the hall of famers herein discussed make up their own rules as they go along, care not for any extant laws, and operate steadfast in the notion that the end justifies the means with consequences due only to others and never for themselves. These are the OSI's, AAC's, FA Management Solutions, W&A's, Sherman Acquisitions, the usual suspects.
Just by way of debunking this putrid myth spread about like cow plop on barren ground as put forth by dumbells that we are all about going after collection agencies. We are about protecting ourselves from thugs. Some count among the tools of their trade the knife, the gun, the bludgeon. For purposes of this board, we concern ourselves with that brand of inadequate, fearful thus dangerous, boundariless crook who uses the telephone, database, and half-wit threats as tools of his feckless 'trade'.
