I have had 2 collections from MBNA go to Wolpoff.
first they called all the time, I sent cease & desist letter, then they filed Arbitration, ( rejected but it still went thru, NAF is in cahoots with MBNA & Wolpoff so of curse they won, W&A have an unsatisfactorily report with the BBB.
anyway they so called won 17,000.00 on one account! LOL.I don't have 17 cents.!!!let me put it this way they are not going to get a dime..Sorry...no assets, no money, no payment...Now if they persue & seek a judgment, same thing, NO MONEY! if still they persue & try to garnish my husbands wages, Chapter 13 time! you can file BK, just look at which Chpter closely if you have a lot of assets be careful....chapter 13 would probably be best then...if you have no or liitle equity in anything then go Ch.7.. JUST my 2 cents.(all I have left) :) Good luck to you.
