Talking to collectors is like talking to any other con artists, what they off might sound good, and it is - for them. Bad for you. As with Kelly and GS, do not talk to these creeps, screen calls, don't even listen to them. Their every utterance is poison for your soul and a profitable trap for your finances. Send them a Cease & Desist letter - form available from this website. Specify that any future contact is to be in writing by mail, period, no calls. Now, if they persist in calling, they have violated the rules of the Federal Trade Commission - bad for them. Keep a phone log to document any idiots that get through. Let your lawyer be your guide, the property might be protectable. Many times, once creditors hear you have a lawyer they tend to go away. Just like going to court without a lawyer, the judge, prosecutor, and anyone else who cares to join the fun will have a go at you. Bring a lawyer, it's just amazing how polite and honest everybody becomes. Protect yourself from these creeps. If you are distressed, report this at once to your doctor. The FTC forbids collection thugs from causing illness and distress to those they call, it makes for good evidence - for you, against them. Best, Keyser Soze
