I'm trying to help someone on another site and this has me puzzeled. She cosigned an auto loan with her BF in1998 and 2 months later he left the state.
Her initial post is unclear but she seems to insuinate that the lenders were never able to locate the car to repo! 3rd party collectors are coming after her for the entire balance. Do the usual UCC codes cover this circumstance? Just when you think you've seen it all.
