As for 'qualifying' for bankruptcy, there really is no 'qualification'. Your only 'qualification' is that you have more debt than you do assets, then you ARE bankrupt, its just not been made official by the BK courts.

If you have few assets and you have little to no disposable income, then CH 7 is a good bet. Disposable income is anything left over after you pay all your normal expenses.
