I have 2 current judgements against myself for $3,300 (Which I was served papers by a sherrif for colections and I have been paying 2 times monthly for 6 months) and $5,500 from a discover judgement. I recently had a bank account frozen from discover in which I only had a $5 balance and no other asseets. I do not own a home and my car is 12 years old. I do have 2 other lines of credit (1 at $1800 and another at $5,500+ as well. Both charged off. I wish to seek advise as to my options. If I choose chapter 7 bankruptsy, will the judgements be wiped out? Are there other options I may seek to avoid garnishment? Thank you for your help, as Ive been in this deep enough now for 5 years or so and too stubborn to seek legal help.
