I have considered selling and that is what I would like to do. Here is my problem with that: I owe much more on the two mortgages than the house is worth!!!! My wife and I are not yet divorced because there is no money for that. She just left me and all the bills. She went and bought a used car and applied for her own credit card before her credit got ruined by letting the car go back (which was in both of our names).

So, bottom line, are these companies a good idea? If they are, could you recommend one?

I can't believe how helpful all of you have been! My daughter is now typing me up a cease and desist letter. She told me to do it a long time ago but you know......
