Jo, I know you mean well, but you are giving incorrect and dangerous information to people who need real help, not conjecture and guesses. YOU may think that "validation letters" and cease and desists etc. will carry some weight in Court, but they DO NOT. A judgment is serious business, you may THINK you are exempt, and may very well be from liens and garnishment, but that may ONLY be in YOUR State, and even then, you may be mistaken. As to filing BK, the man posting here has already seen a BK lawyer and obtained CORRECT advice, (something that a do-it-yourself BK filer usually regrets NOT doing, when it is TOO LATE)
