Scott, I rec'd a reply from BBB of Ill with a copy of the company's response, (Jeff Garrington) "Due to the nature of my complaint",they have suspended all collection activity, they have submitted a written request for documentation pertaining to the account ( to who? the account is a 1990 mastercard) if they do not receive verification within 45 days, CAMCO will close the account and release me of all liability on the debt. Question, did they really ask for verification of a debt back in 1990 or is this a form letter. What do I expect now, I filed all my complaints, this is the first response I have gotten back. Please reply, I am not letting my guard down on this company or any other trying to collect on time-barred accounts...Thanks
