Unfortunately, PAYING your debts off only CONFIRMS an entry on your reports.Disputing and getting deletions REMOVES a derogatory entry.

By the way,Airics, if a judgment is being reported incorrectly, all you need to do is dispute it, if they verify it, get a CERTIFIED copy from the Court and send (or fax) it to them.

If they are reporting it as a TAX LIEN, it will stay on your report till Kingdom Come.
