California resident past Sol.. Recently disputed with cra's.. Orig creditor deleted.. Collector has no posted on my report... Question 1: If I send out a validation letter, will it help if I also send the same letter CC to Cra's? Question 2: I spoke with a collector today who purchased from original creditor. Original creditor is listed on report. Two months ago tradeline from orig. creditor showed-no balance and sold. After disputing they changed and put a balance back on, still shows as sold. What can I do? Collector says they own but orig. creditor is showing. I also asked for a copy of the agreement that I allegedly signed with orig. creditor. They said orig. creditor throws out after 3 years..
