DO NOT contact anyone about "paying off" any of these accounts. OPT OUT, and wait for them to be nearly 7 years old, then dispute them to the CRA as "obsolete".

ANYTHING you do to resurrect these old accounts will CEMENT them back on your credit for another 7 years.

Send the $$ you would have paid them to a worthy charity and put your past bad credit behind you.
