I didn't realize you were dealing with an SOL account. I think you did the right thing by sending a total C&D letter. 99% of ca's are not stupid enough to sue over an out of statute debt.
One step at a time. Call the Court Clerk's office and find out if the lawsuit was really filed. Either way, the pain is a comin' for this law firm!
