As to their threats of assXXXX searches, yeah, they can surely do one if they so wish, but they cost money, lots of it. Also, try sending them an opt out form, no sharing, no inquiry about you in any way without your permission, which they do not have. For their smartness, they need from you a sharp rebuke.
