Thanks to everyone for providing me with all the advice. Much appreciate it. I guess my understanding of Chap. 13 was off. My original impression was that I needed to payoff everything in 3-5 years. But I guess it's paying off around 20% of what I owe in 3-5 years. That's probably more doable.

And yes, I will think about transferring my assets to others. This almost sounds as if I'm cheating or some immoral thing to do, trying to get around the system, that type of stuff. But I can't have the condo that my retired folks are living in getting auctioned off. So I guess that's something I'll have to do.
