Scott, can you describe to me what constitutes proper serving of repo papers? I was never SERVED with anything - the car just disappeared one day, along with my belongings, and I assumed it had been repo'd -- later confirmed when it showed up on my credit report. I never received any notification that a deficiency existed, either. Do those things simply get sent in the mail (in which case is it up to me to prove that I never received anything?), or is there some more formal process?
