Bk and buying a house

With a rough start on credit me and wife filed bankruptcy 1 year now in June. We haven't really bought anything big on credit since thien and declined alot of the car and after discharge credit card offers and have been working on reestablishing our lives back. We never have owned a home and would like to stop paying high rent and actually buy a house. Do we have a chance being bk is onlything on our credit except one cc company that we included did not report bk on credit report which I will be disputing with them. I know interest rates are down and now seems to be a good time to buy. Just wondering If I should even waste teh time with a mortagage company?
